The Covenant Cadet Boys’ Club is part of an international, independent, non-denominational youth ministry organization whose purpose is to effectively share Christ’s love with boys in our church and our community.

Cadets earn merit badges while discovering God’s Word, exploring hobbies, developing life skills, and experiencing camping and other fun activities.

Each meeting includes games, projects, crafts, and fun with the other club members, and led by a team of dedicated adult men counselors.

The Cadet Club typically meets the first 3 times Wednesdays of each month from  6:30 – 8:00 PM, September through May at Covenant Church.

The start of Cadet meetings has been delayed this year because of COVID concerns.
Please watch this website or call the church office for up-to-date information about club activities this fall.

GEMS is an acronym for “Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior.”
Our vision is to see girls actively and enthusiastically expressing love for God and others.

There are so many fun things to look forward to this year at GEMS!  Our Biblical focus will be on how to study the Bible.

Using a Kay Arthur/Janna Arndt study, we will discover how to use the tools of observation, interpretation, and application to deepen our walk with God.  Also games, crafts, and snacks will continue to be a fun part of our GEMS meetings.

For those who are concerned about COVID precautions, we encourage the following:

  1. Most importantly, if your daughter has had a fever of 99 degrees or higher, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, or other signs of illness, please keep her home until 24 hours after symptoms are gone.   This is the best way to reduce transmission of illness.
  2. GEMS girls will be expected to wash their hands in the bathroom before club.
  3. Snacks or food items will be packaged in single serve containers to eliminate possible contamination.
  4. Regarding face coverings, please refer to the church’s policy:  “As you know, there is a state-wide mandate to wear face coverings indoors, which includes church facilities.  We want the congregation and visitors to know that we respect this mandate and support those who choose to wear face coverings.  We also understand that some have reasons for not wearing face coverings.  We are welcoming to all who come to worship.”

GEMS meets at 6:30 PM on the first three Wednesdays of each month from September through May.

Girls of all denominations are welcome to attend.
