Covenant Community Garden started in 2008 with a goal of sharing our church property, learning more about growing food, and making new friends. We now have a lovely garden with 12 plots and two handicapped-accessible raised beds.
You do not have to be a member of Covenant Church to garden here. In fact, the majority of our gardeners are neighbors who joined because they needed additional space for a garden. Together, we enjoy creating beautiful gardens and sharing knowledge and encouragement.
Each November, returning gardeners have the option to re-register their plot for the following season. Plots for new gardeners, when they are available, are assigned each year on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in having a plot, please call the church office to receive a registration form. A $20 registration fee ($10 for 1/2 plots) will be collected once you have been assigned a plot. We also ask gardeners to pay a $10 deposit on each plot, which is returned in November when the plot is cleaned up in preparation for winter.
