Children & Worship
During our Sunday morning church services, children ages 4 through 1st grade are invited to our Children’s Worship Center for a special program designed just for them.

The “Children and Worship” time is a multi-sensory worship experience which encourages children to reflect on God’s story.  Each week, storytellers present Old and New Testament stories in a way that draws children in to experience worship, rather than just learn about it.

Sunday School meets following Sunday Worship, at about 11AM. Please go to the calendar on this website for more schedule information.

“Children and Worship” is a program developed by the Reformed Church of America. You may visit www.rca.org/childrenandworship for the history and philosophy behind this dynamic children’s ministry.

Sunday School

If you would like to find out more about our curriculum for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, see Lifeway’s related page here.

Covenant Church Sunday School, children grow in discipleship through the study of God’s Word. The Bible is taught as one complete story about God’s love and redemption through Jesus Christ. The goal is for children to understand not only that they play a part in this incredible story, but also that they are part of a much larger faith community of past, present and future believers.

Sunday School Classes
Ages 3 – 4
Our preschoolers engage in a joyful discover of God’s love through music, Bible stories, and play.

Grades K – 5
Our elementary classes use the Gospel Project, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study. Students are challenged to imagine, wonder, and marvel at God’s story. Take-home resources encourage families to actively nurture faith at home.

Grades 6 – 8

Our middle school classes use the Gospel Project, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study. At this level, we encourage students to look to God for answers to their questions and consider how creeds and confessions are connected to the Bible.

Grades 9 – 10

These high school students are led in study of the Heidelberg Catechism.

Grades 11-12
These high school students are currently studying how to study the Bible. They will be introduced to the process of Inductive Bible Study.

Adult
Each week, this group explores a book of the Bible or themes of Biblical importance. This is a casual class, so even if you are not able to attend regularly, you are welcome to come for the fellowship and to learn about God with others.
